BIR Filings Progress Tabs and Status Types Definitions

Q1. What does the main tabs mean in BIR Filings?

Main Tab	Meaning
Action Needed	Tax forms that needs action. Saved tax forms.
In Progress	Tax forms are currently being submitted to BIR
For Approval	Tax forms needs approval from admin. Saved tax forms.
Filed & Paid	Tax forms are both filed and paid. Two types of tax forms end up here: Filed & Paid online directly to BIR via Juan Mark as Filed & Paid (recreated tax forms)
Cancelled	Tax forms that were cancelled from Action Needed tab.

Status	Tab Location	Meaning
To File & To Pay	Action Needed	Tax form is saved. Ready to File and Pay. Not yet submitted to BIR.
To File	Action Needed	Tax form is saved. Ready for Filing, no tax due.
In Progress	In Progress	Tax form is currently being submitted to the BIR.
To Pay	In Progress	Tax form has been filed to the BIR. Awaiting for tax due payment.
Filed and Paid	Filed and Paid	There are two versions of this: Filing Option chosen was “File and Pay Online” Tax form was filed and paid directly to BIR via Juan. Filing Option was “Mark as Filed and Paid” Tax form was filed and paid outside Juan.
