When a user submits a tax return through JuanTax, the user declares that the information contained in the return is true, correct, and complete to the best of their knowledge. The user authorizes Ten Elleven Manila Inc., maker and developer of JuanTax and a BIR-accredited electronic tax software provider pursuant to RMO 8-2019, to electronically transmit the tax return to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and to process the corresponding tax payment on the user’s behalf.
The electronic return and all accompanying schedules are deemed to have been prepared in good faith and verified by the user. The amounts reflected in the return—including Total Income, Taxable Income, Total Tax Due, Amount Payable, or Overpayment—are the amounts shown on the copy of the return being filed.
JuanTax is authorized to transmit the electronic return to the BIR and to receive from the BIR:
(a) an acknowledgment of receipt or notice of rejection of the transmission; and
(b) any notice or information regarding delays in the processing of the return.
The cut-off for tax filing and payment processing is one (1) business day before the statutory due date (“cut-off date”). Filing and payment requests made after 9:00 PM on the cut-off date may be considered late.
Ten Elleven Manila Inc. shall not be liable for penalties, interest, or other charges arising from late filing or payment requests submitted after the cut-off time.
If the due date falls on a Monday, the cut-off date shall be 9:00 PM on the preceding Friday. If the cut-off date falls on a legal holiday, the cut-off date shall be moved to the preceding business day.
For tax payments processed through JuanTax, the Tax Due and applicable penalties displayed in the system represent the amounts payable to the BIR for the tax return being processed. Ten Elleven Manila Inc., through JuanTax and its partner financial institutions, facilitates the electronic payment of taxes to the BIR on behalf of the user using the selected payment method.
Users are responsible for ensuring that sufficient funds are available in the selected payment source at the time of payment processing.
Payments submitted through the platform cannot be revoked, cancelled, or reversed through JuanTax. Any refund, adjustment, or correction must be filed directly with the BIR in accordance with applicable regulations.
Ten Elleven Manila Inc. and the financial institutions involved in the electronic payment process may receive and process confidential information necessary to respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to tax filing and payment processing.
